The final hunt begins.

Blade is a vampire hunter who works in the shadows, in the underworld of a city where almost no one suspects what's really going on. His calm is shattered when a group of vampires, led by the Talos siblings, Danica and Asher, and their bodyguard Jarko Grimwood, sets its sights on an ancient tomb in the Syrian desert. They believe it belongs to Dracula, the first vampire. To keep Blade from interfering with their plans, the vampires set a trap: they trick him into killing a human while a camera records it on video. David S. Goyer directs the film, and the lead role is played by Wesley Snipes.

Trivia about Blade: Trinity

In 2005, Snipes sued New Line Cinema and Goyer, claiming the studio didn't pay him his full salary and that his screen time was reduced in favor of Ryan Reynolds and Jessica Biel.
New Line Cinema's producers proposed pro wrestler Triple H for the cast, and Goyer was highly skeptical. He ended up expanding his role after being impressed by his comedic timing.
Goyer used Esperanto and its flag as part of the fictional city where Blade's story takes place.
Apple didn't pay to appear in the movie, but it provided its equipment and offered the option to buy it at a 60% discount.

Quotes by Blade: Trinity

  • [A cell phone rings while he is holding a familiar upside-down] Oh, it's you!
  • I picked Danica up in a bar, spent the next five years playing hide-and-go-suck as her little vampire cabana boy. Eventually Abigail found me, Sommerfield managed to treat me with a cure, and now I kill them. And that's basically turning a frown upside down.
  • FUCKING HANNIBAL KING! I should have ripped his bleeding heart out when I had the chance!
  • There is an old saying: kill one man, you're a murderer. Kill a million, a king. Kill them all, a god.
  • [To a baby after catching it thrown by Dracula/Drake at the edge of a skyscraper] Cootchie-Coo.
  • So, can we just go right ahead and sign you up for one of our secret Nightstalker decoder rings?
