Biopic of country music legend Johnny Cash. The story begins in Arkansas during the Great Depression. John R. Cash is the son of a sharecropper, but it won't be long before he launches wild tours with the pioneers of rock and roll: Elvis Presley, Carl Perkins, Roy Orbison, Jerry Lee Lewis and Waylon Jennings, tours that culminate in his unforgettable 1968 concert at Folsom Prison. Cash became the hottest artist of the moment, selling even more records than the Beatles.
