Dominic Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, has been on the run for five years after crossing the border into Mexico, well aware that he will always be a fugitive. Now he lives in a beach cabin in the Dominican Republic with Leticia "Letty" Ortiz, played by Michelle Rodriguez, the only thing he has left of his past. His goal is to rebuild the life he left behind, but he knows the police are never far away and that one careless moment could get him caught. Every day on this beach is a truce he grants himself, and conflict arrives when that calm starts to crack.

But the speed was power, and the speed was joy, and the speed was pure beauty.
In Einstein’s corrected formula m has the value m=m01−v2/c2 where the “rest mass” m0 represents the mass of a body that is not moving and c is the speed of light, which is about 3×10 km⋅sec or about 186,000 mi⋅sec.
LT Pete "Maverick" Mitchell: I feel a need… a need for speed.
Be wise with speed;A fool at forty is a fool indeed.
Ares (The God of War) hates those who hesitate.
It would be relevant … to point out the sinister part played by speed, by belief in speed as a value, by, in a word, a kind of impatience that has had a profound effect in changing even the very rhythms of the life of the spirit for the worse.
