The Blue Lagoon

During the Victorian era, two young children, Emmeline and Richard Lestrange, are passengers on a sailing ship making the Cape Horn route with Richard's father, since Emmeline's parents are dead and he acts as her uncle. A fire destroys the ship, and the galley boy, Paddy, takes the children with him in a lifeboat, but this separates them from the other survivors, and they are left adrift. After days without direction, they reach a lush tropical island.
