What Season 1 of Almost Human

In 2048, technological advances have sent crime soaring in Los Angeles, and the Police Department requires every officer to work with an android that is nearly indistinguishable from a human. John Kennex returns to duty after a coma caused by an attack, left with physical and psychological scars, and he distrusts machines. His partner is Dorian, a retired android who stands out from his model and won't tolerate being called synthetic. Together, they must learn to work as a team while investigating cases in a city dependent on technology, from illegal sexbots to hostage situations and black markets for biomechanical organs. Captain Maldonado leads the unit and tests the relationship between the two.
