What Season 1 of Close Enough
Josh and Emily are just over thirty, have a young daughter named Candice, and share a duplex in Los Angeles with Alex and Bridgette, who are divorced. The four of them face everyday domestic problems, but each one spirals into the surreal, with touches of science fiction and fantasy. The couple tries to balance parenthood, work and their desire not to fully grow up. Between invading neighbors, living video games and out-of-control parties, their maturity is repeatedly called into question. Jason Mantzoukas, Danielle Brooks and creator J. G. Quintel lead the cast.
