What Season 5 of Cold Case

In season 5 of Cold Case, homicide detective Lilly Rush, played by Kathryn Morris, joins a unit that reopens murders shelved for lack of evidence. She works under Lieutenant John Stillman, the veteran head of the department and her mentor, whom she turns to when a case stalls. Each file is reactivated when new evidence or a witness emerges that could clear up what other officers failed to solve years earlier. Lilly is blunt, and that approach puts her up against suspects who can put her safety at risk. Cases range from a forgotten T-shirt in a van to a young woman from the Amish community who vanishes after leaving home. The team balances the pressure to solve forgotten homicides with an archive where time has erased many answers.
