What Season 6 of Cold Case

Lilly Rush, played by Kathryn Morris, joins a Philadelphia homicide unit that reopens murders shelved for lack of evidence. She works under Lieutenant John Stillman, the veteran head of the department and her mentor, whom she turns to when an investigation stalls. Each file is reopened when new evidence or witnesses emerge that could clear up what other cops failed to solve. The cases include a rugby player murdered in 1973 and a Marine found in an oil drum. Lilly is blunt, and that approach puts her up against suspects who can put her safety at risk.
