What Season 4 of Desperate Housewives

Season four opens with Gabrielle and Carlos carrying on an affair behind Victor's and Edie's backs, which soon causes them trouble. Lynette endures chemotherapy without telling anyone, while Susan fears she's going through menopause. The neighborhood fills with new tensions: the arrival of a gay couple, a piece of art that sets Lynette against Katherine Mayfair, and a visit from estranged sisters. Katherine, newly at the center of the mystery, takes on a bigger role as the season goes on. Bree, meanwhile, keeps dealing with Orson's presence. The four housewives drive the plot from their homes, amid secrets and rivalries.
