What Season 1 of Everybody Loves Raymond

Ray Barone is a sports journalist in Lynbrook, on Long Island, and lives with his wife Debra, their daughter Ally and twins Geoffrey and Michael. Ray responds to almost everything with sarcasm and leaves much of the housework to Debra, who often loses her patience. Right across the street live his parents, Frank and Marie, and his brother Robert, who show up unannounced and meddle in every decision the couple makes. The everyday arguments of this Italian American family are the heart of the season. Along the way, conflicts include Debra's birthday, a funeral, a poker game with his father and the Thanksgiving turkey.
