What Season 8 of Everybody Loves Raymond
The season opens in Lynbrook with the Barones already settled into their routine. Ray, a sports journalist, answers almost everything with sarcasm and leaves much of the house and the kids in Debra's hands, and she gets overwhelmed easily. Across the street live Frank, Marie and Robert, who butt into every decision the couple makes. Robert has just married Amy, so the newlyweds get pulled into the mix too. Among the conflicts, the lies piling up between Ray and Debra, her chronic lateness and Peter's visits to the house stand out. The kids also play a big part in the plot, with Michael skipping school for no clear reason and Ally taking care of the twins.
