What Season 5 of Gossip Girl

The fifth season opens with Serena van der Woodsen in Los Angeles, where she has landed a summer job in Hollywood. Chuck and Nate visit her and find that she has brought her Upper East Side attitude to the West Coast. There Nate meets Diana, a woman older than him who soon gains weight in the storyline. Diana declares war on Gossip Girl, and that clash runs through much of the season. Blair, meanwhile, prepares to get married and keeps dealing with her rivalries at school. Dan tries to carve out a place among the rich with his book as his calling card.
