Season 13 kicks off at Grey Sloan, where one of the hospital's owners resurfaces and Bailey tries to find out what happened. Meredith carries secrets that strain her relationship with Alex and Maggie, while Richard helps Jo make an important decision. Catherine and April clash over the new baby, and the doctors' personal lives get as complicated as their work. The residents, including Meredith, Cristina, Izzie, Alex, George and the rest of the group, keep learning under Bailey's tough supervision. Every medical decision carries weight, and the long shifts barely leave time to breathe.
