What Season 4 of Grey's Anatomy

Season four opens with a change in rank: surgical interns are now residents and supervise their own junior interns. Meredith, Cristina, Izzie and Alex take on the new role, and Cristina returns from her honeymoon to find that Burke has resigned. Among the junior interns are George, who repeats the year after missing his exams, and Lexie Grey, Meredith's half sister, whom she has never met. Meredith and Derek's relationship has stalled, and Derek starts noticing other colleagues. Bailey fights to keep her place at the hospital now that her former intern reports to the new chief resident.
