What Season 1 of Hawaii Five-0

Steve McGarrett, a former Navy SEAL, returns to Oahu to investigate his father's murder and ends up leading a small special unit of the Hawaii State Police. Governor Pat Jameson has created the group to tackle serious crimes across the islands, from terrorism to kidnapping and murder. McGarrett has full access to crime scenes and the governor's political backing. To form the team, he recruits Detective Danny Williams, who has just arrived from New Jersey, and adds local officers, including a former protégé of his father. Each case starts with a body or a crime that the governor or her representative assigns to the team.
