Metalocalypse

Dethklok is a death metal band of North American and North Scandinavian origin, formed by Nathan Explosion, Skwisgaar Skwigelf, Pickles, William Murderface and Toki Wartooth. Within the fictional world, the group enjoys a level of popularity it would never have in real life, to the point that it is considered the twelfth-largest economy on Earth. Its fans would do anything its songs say, even die for them. When the band endorses a brand, that brand becomes the only option on the market, because competitors are left without sales. Its manager, Charles Foster Offdensen, backs a group whose economic power grows out of control. Created by Brendon Small and Tommy Blacha and aired on Adult Swim, the series follows these musicians on their rise and through the consequences of excessive fame.
