What Season 23 of Midsomer Murders

Season 23 opens with Midsomer's tranquility shattered by a series of violent crimes. Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby and his young sergeant take charge of the investigations, with the mission of ruling out the innocent and relentlessly pursuing the guilty. The locations include a bombproof shelter and a retirement community for former police officers, where suspicion spreads among the neighbors. At an old mill converted into a bakery, the owners' ambition to expand stirs resentment in the village. Later, an annual domino tournament in Elverton-Cum-Latterly is complicated by a charity drag queen event, and tensions between neighbors multiply.
