What Season 13 of Midsomer Murders
The season follows Chief Inspector Tom Barnaby, who works with his partner Jones in Midsomer, a fictional county in England whose capital is Causton. Barnaby arrives in quiet, picturesque villages that hide dark secrets, and he must find out who is killing and why. The conflicts revolve around ambition and appearances: a councillor with shady business dealings, a dispute over land development in Great Pelfe, a local boxer who, after his triumph in New York, faces betrayal and blackmail, and a hit-and-run that puts Joyce under suspicion. Barnaby also reluctantly accompanies Joyce on a spa weekend, where he tries unsuccessfully to relax. Dark humor accompanies every case.
