What Season 22 of Midsomer Murders

Season 22 of Midsomer Murders sets the action in the fictional English county of Midsomer, where the calm of its villages is shattered by violent crimes. Veteran Chief Inspector Barnaby leads the investigation alongside a young sergeant. Together they question suspects who seem innocent at first and must separate the innocent from the guilty. The stories revolve around an urban legend that gains followers, a scarecrow festival, an amateur opera company and a spiritualist fair. In each case, rivalries, ambitions and secrets push the neighbors to act in desperate ways. The tone blends intrigue with a very present dark humor.
