What Season 9 of Roseanne

The season opens with the Conners winning the lottery, the biggest jackpot in the state's history. Roseanne has just left Dan after an argument and takes refuge at Jackie's house, while he busies himself fixing things at the house on Delaware Street without knowing how to repair his marriage. Money brings indulgences, trips and new pressures, but the family tries to stay down-to-earth. The kids, in the middle of their teenage years, have their own troubles too, and Dan's worry about his mother, who has been institutionalized, weighs on everyone.

Meanwhile, back at the Conner house, Dan is listlessly puttering around fixing things -- but he'd rather "fix things" in his marriage. And, much like the TV couples occupying Roseanne's thoughts, Dan and Roseanne just might discover that they're better off together than apart. In the coda, Jackie realizes that they have won $108 million in the state lottery.
