Synopsis of SKAM
Skam is a Norwegian series created by Julie Andem for NRK P3 and aired on NRK3. It follows the everyday lives of a group of teenagers attending Hartvig Nissen School, located in the affluent Frogner neighborhood of Oslo's West End. Each season focuses on a different character, and the first revolves around Eva, played by Lisa Teige. The students live under pressure to perform and fit in across every area of their lives, and that tension sets the pace of the episodes. The series tackles issues that concern young people, such as identity, romantic relationships and social pressure, with the aim of sparking an open debate about them.
«There's only one thing we know for sure. That life is... now.»
