Synopsis of The Ark

A century from now, Earth is devastated, and the spaceship Ark One is carrying a group of potential colonists toward a new home, the planet Proxima Centauri b. The journey proceeds normally until a catastrophic event kills nearly all of the technical crew and senior officers. Among the few survivors is Lieutenant Sharon Garnet, played by Christie Burke, who becomes the ship's de facto captain. She and the rest of the crew must reorganize to keep the ship running and on course for its destination, with one clear goal: to reach the planet alive. Created by Dean Devlin, the series airs on Syfy and stars Richard Fleeshman, Reece Ritchie, Stacey Read, and others.
