The Cartel

Martín González, played by Manolo Cardona, tells his story from prison. As he talks, he recalls being fifteen, when his mother worked in the United States and sent money home to the family. He then asks his best friend, Pepe Cadena, played by Diego Cadavid, to help him reach his older brother, Óscar Cadena, known as Don Óscar. Don Óscar is the supreme boss of the Pacific Cartel, and Martín wants to get into his business as soon as possible. Set in Colombia in the world of drug trafficking, the story shows how the desire for money and family pressure push two friends toward a path where every step has consequences.
