Synopsis of The Mosquito Coast
Allie Fox is an idealistic engineer and inventor who has built his life far from the control of government and large corporations. He lives with his wife, Margot, and their children, Dina and Charlie, in a self-sufficient home where he makes his own fuel and rejects consumerism. His austere existence seems like a form of rebellion, though not even his closest allies fully understand the reasons he lives this way. Peace is shattered when US authorities track down his whereabouts and begin pursuing them. With no other options, the family flees to Mexico, a journey that will test Allie's convictions. The series was created by Neil Cross and airs on Apple TV, and stars Justin Theroux and Melissa George.
