What Season 1 of Unforgettable

Carrie Wells is a former Syracuse police officer with hypermnesia, a condition that lets her remember every detail of everything she experiences. There is one gap she can't fill: what happened the day her sister was murdered. When her former partner and ex-girlfriend, Lt. Al Burns, asks for her help, Carrie joins the Queens homicide unit of the New York Police Department. There, she works alongside Burns and his team, and her memory becomes the tool she uses to solve crimes. Every case brings her closer, she hopes, to that missing piece of her past. The conflicts blend police work with the family grief she carries.
