Months after defeating the Dead Moon Circus, Usagi Tsukino and her friends lead quiet lives as high school students in the Tokyo district of Azabu-Jūban. The calm is shattered when her boyfriend, Mamoru Chiba, decides to leave and study abroad, specifically in the United States. At the airport farewell, Mamoru gives Usagi a ring. However, before he can propose, the enigmatic Sailor Galaxia suddenly appears, fatally attacks Mamoru, steals his Golden Crystal and flees the scene. This Japanese animated film, directed by Tomoya Takahashi and with Kotono Mitsuishi voicing the lead role, confronts Usagi with a sudden threat that shatters her peaceful present.
