In 1980, Danny Bryce, Hunter, Davies, and Meier form a group of mercenaries who travel to Mexico to carry out a job: eliminate a man. Danny is the most experienced member of the team and knows the trade well, but the operation does not go as planned. An unexpected detail in the middle of the job forces him to question what he is doing and why. The lead character begins to feel the weight of every mission, and his teammates don't look kindly on his doubts. Directed by Gary McKendry and starring Jason Statham, the movie opens with this tense mission on Mexican soil and with a man who is no longer sure which side of the law he wants to be on.

Trivia about Killer Elite

According to Ranulph Fiennes, author of the novel it is based on, a secret society called the Feather Men, made up of retired and disabled SAS members, operated in the shadows.
To shoot in Melbourne, De Niro filmed a scene on Spring Street that stood in for 1970s Paris.
Critic Roger Ebert of the Chicago Sun-Times gave it three out of four stars and praised Gary McKendry's "impressive debut."
On Rotten Tomatoes, only 27% of the 124 reviews checked were positive.
