Synopsis of Rectify
Daniel Holden has spent nineteen years on Georgia's death row for the rape and murder of his sixteen-year-old girlfriend, Hanna, when he was a teenager. A review of the DNA evidence from his trial contradicts the prosecution, and an appeals court overturns the original sentence. Daniel returns to Paulie, his hometown, where his mother, his sister Amantha and his in-laws must readjust their lives now that he is nearby again. The neighbors haven't forgotten the case, and Daniel tries to find his place in a community that condemned him almost two decades ago. Created by Ray McKinnon and aired on SundanceTV, the series stars Aden Young as Daniel.
«Sentenced to die. Condemned to live.»
