Synopsis of Mayor of Kingstown

Kingstown, Michigan, is a fictional city whose main business is incarceration. For decades, the McLusky family has kept the peace in the town as mediators between street gangs, inmates, guards and the police. Mike, the middle brother, is the right-hand man of his older brother, Mitch, and has spent much of his life dreaming of leaving Kingstown. The series explores the family's attempt to impose order and justice in a city that lacks both, amid racial tensions, corruption and inequality. Created by Taylor Sheridan and Hugh Dillon, it airs on Paramount+ and stars Jeremy Renner.
