A wedding on the Greek island of Santorini takes an unexpected turn when an earthquake shakes the coast and uncovers an underwater temple. Alexander the Great built it to hold his most precious treasures. Lara Croft, the adventurer played by Angelina Jolie, visits the site and finds a glowing orb inside. Her discovery is short-lived, because a group of assassins led by Chen Lo appears and manages to snatch it from her. Lara sets out to recover it before it falls into the wrong hands, in a story that leads her to search for Pandora's Box. The film is directed by Jan de Bont.
