Mollie Jensen is an accountant in New York who spends her days reviewing her clients' books. An affair with Albert, one of them, leaves her with an unexpected surprise: she's pregnant. The problem is that Albert is married to another woman, and Mollie will have to face the situation on her own terms. But the baby has a voice of its own, though only the audience can hear it. From inside the womb, it begins to comment on its own development and everything happening around it. Kirstie Alley stars as Mollie in this romantic comedy directed by Amy Heckerling, who also wrote the screenplay.
