Machine Gun Preacher

Sam Childers grew up with a violent father and a deeply devout mother, which may explain why his life is full of contradictions. Addicted to drugs and women, he ended up becoming a drug-dealing biker. Some years later, Sam joins the army and becomes part of a team whose mission is to travel through the most dangerous areas of Sudan and Uganda to rescue orphans and child soldiers.
