The Ranch

The Ranch is an American comedy created by Don Reo and Jim Patterson and streamed on Netflix. The story unfolds at the Iron River Ranch, near the small fictional town of Garrison in southwestern Colorado, about six hours by car from Denver. Colt Bennett, a former quarterback who never made it big, returns home after fifteen years away. He has come back to help his father, Beau, and his older brother, Rooster, on the family ranch while he waits for a tryout with a semi-professional Denver team. Beau is a grumpy rancher who hates modern conveniences, and Maggie, the divorced mother, runs the town bar. Starring Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Sam Elliott, Debra Winger, and Elisha Cuthbert, the series follows this dysfunctional family as clashing personalities and Colt's ambitions complicate life on the ranch.
