Synopsis of 24

Jack Bauer, played by Kiefer Sutherland, is a federal agent assigned to the Counter Terrorist Unit, a fictional office based in Los Angeles. His mission is to stop terrorist groups from attacking the United States, and to do so he works alongside his CTU colleagues and coordinates efforts with other government agencies. The story unfolds over a single 24-hour day, so each episode equals one hour of action. The conspirators' plans gradually connect as the day goes on, and Bauer must react against the clock as the storylines intersect. The series was created by Robert Cochran and Joel Surnow and airs on Fox.
