The Fourth Kind

Supernatural thriller set in Alaska, where a woman investigates a series of mysterious disappearances that have occurred in the area over the past 40 years. At the end of 2000, patients of therapist Abbey Tyler, under hypnosis, displayed behaviors suggesting encounters with non-human beings. Before going to sleep, all of them claimed to have seen an owl watching them from outside the window. And they would wake up completely paralyzed, hearing terrifying noises coming from outside the room. Their later memories faded into darkness. The doctor continued her investigation, discovering that the disappearances of people and strange events in the region dated back to 60.
