The Mountain Between Us

Adaptation of the novel by Charles Martin. The story follows two strangers: Ashley, a writer who must fly from Salt Lake City to the East to get to her wedding, and Ben, a doctor returning from a medical conference. When their flight is canceled due to antifreeze problems, the passengers decide to charter a flight. When the pilot suffers a heart attack, they crash on a desolate, snow-covered mountain. He breaks a rib and she breaks a leg. Fortunately, besides being a doctor, he is an avid climber. As they try to make their way down the mountain, she begins to wonder whether she was about to marry the wrong man.
