The Notebook

In a nursing home, an elderly man reads a woman a love story written in his old notebook. The book follows the lives of Noah Calhoun and Allie Nelson in the 40s, two teenagers from North Carolina who, despite coming from very different social worlds, spent an idyllic summer together, deeply in love, before being separated first by their parents and later by World War II.
