Party Down

Party Down is a half-hour comedy created by Paul Rudd, Rob Thomas, John Enbom and Dan Etheridge, airing on Starz. Set in Los Angeles, it follows a group of aspiring actors, screenwriters and other professionals who work for Party Down, a local catering company. Among them is Henry Pollard, a failed actor who has returned to the trade after giving up performing, and Ron Donald, the crew chief obsessed with making sure the client is satisfied. Each episode the team works a different event, and their assignments bring them into contact with wealthy, eccentric guests whose lives turn out to be absurd. Everyone is waiting for their big break or a change that will get them out of where they are, while the job keeps them serving canapés night after night.
