Synopsis of Space Force
Space Force is an office comedy created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carell, streaming on Netflix. Carell plays General Mark Naird, a decorated military officer who reluctantly must work with Dr. Adrian Mallory, an eccentric scientist played by John Malkovich. Both are part of the team tasked with launching the sixth branch of the United States Armed Forces, the Space Force. Naird has a clear mission handed down by the president: get boots on the Moon by 2024. The conflict stems from an ambitious project, a very tight deadline, and two personalities that clash at every turn. Alongside them, Ben Schwartz, Tawny Newsome, and Diana Silvers round out the cast of a group of people who must build an agency from scratch.
«Not even gravity can keep them down.»
