What's Eating Gilbert Grape

Gilbert is a boy from the small town of Endora, trapped there by family obligations. After his father's suicide, he must take care of his intellectually disabled younger brother, his two sisters, and his morbidly obese mother, who weighs more than 200 pounds. His dull life revolves around the grocery store where he works, his family, and his affair with a married woman. The arrival in town of an optimistic young woman named Becky will change his routine.
