Synopsis of Cowboy Bebop
In the year 2071, humanity has colonized much of the planets and moons of the Solar System, and crime continues to rise. The interplanetary police have launched a system of legal contracts for registered bounty hunters, known as cowboys, who capture criminals alive in exchange for a reward. The protagonists work aboard the spaceship Bebop. Spike Spiegel and Jet Black roam the Solar System in search of loot, and over time they are joined by Faye Valentine, Ed, and Ein, the pet. For the most part, the series is episodic, but the main plot revolves around Spike and his deadly feud with Vicious, an ambitious and ruthless criminal from the Red Dragon Syndicate. The series is produced by the Sunrise studio and airs on TV Tokyo, with a cast led by Koichi Yamadera.
