Synopsis of Formula 1: Drive to Survive
This documentary series follows drivers, team principals and team owners in Formula 1 during the 2018 season, from the Australian Grand Prix to the final race in Abu Dhabi. Netflix produces it together with the World Championship, with exclusive access to the paddock and those who inhabit it. The main figures include Max Verstappen, Lewis Hamilton, Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz Jr., Pierre Gasly, Lance Stroll, Toto Wolff and Christian Horner. All of them chase the championship while managing their projects, contracts and rivalries on and off the track. The first episode captures the constant pulse of a relentless season, in which any Grand Prix can change everything.
