Synopsis of Knightfall
Knightfall is set in the 14th century and follows Landry, a Knights Templar hardened by the Crusades and disheartened by the Order's failures in the Holy Land. His spirits change when news arrives that the Holy Grail has resurfaced. That rumor restores his hope and sends him on a quest that will test the brotherhood. The series recreates the Crusades and the life of the Knights Templar in their final days, focusing on the men who devoted their lives to guarding the most precious relic in Christendom. Tom Cullen stars as Landry in this historical drama created by Don Handfield and Richard Rayner and aired on History.
