Synopsis of Vikings
In the fictional village of Kattegat lives Ragnar Lothbrok, a farmer who has devised revolutionary ships equipped with equally novel navigation instruments. His project clashes with the peaceful life of his community, which is used to working the land without aspiring to anything more. Ragnar wants to use his ships to launch raids against England, earn a name among the warriors and, with the support of his family and fellow warriors, become a Scandinavian king. Travis Fimmel stars as the lead in this historical drama series, which was created and written by Michael Hirst for the History channel.
