What Season 1 of R. L. Stine's The Haunting Hour

The first season of The Haunting Hour: The Series is an anthology of half-hour episodes, and each one features a different cast. The characters face supernatural threats such as ghosts, witches, zombies, aliens or monsters. The first episode begins with a life-size doll that becomes a problem for Lilly and her family. Other stories take place at schools, inns or new houses that hide something unsettling. The plots are darker than those of Goosebumps. Some work as very grim moral tales, while others end happily. What ties the episodes together is the way each group reacts when fear tests how they act.
