Trivia about Sky Rojo

During its opening weekend, Sky Rojo was the fourth most-watched series on Netflix worldwide and the most-watched non-English-language series on the planet.

The series topped the Netflix Spain chart on its premiere day, and the next day it climbed to No. 6 worldwide.

Forbes reported that Sky Rojo was the most-watched series in Spain the day after its release, surpassing Disney+'s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

The first season has a 92% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes, based on 13 critic reviews.

The series team traveled to Tenerife three times to capture one of the island's most distinctive atmospheres.

The Las Novias club was built on a private estate in Toledo, although the plot is set in southern Tenerife.

Netflix and Álex Pina agreed to end the series with a third and final season, so there will be no fourth installment of "Sky Rojo."

Filming had to stop due to the COVID-19 pandemic with only a few days left to finish, and it resumed in Madrid in October 2020.
