Ferdinand

On a Spanish farm called Casa del Toro, owned by Moreno, a group of young bulls trains for the bullfights. Among them lives Ferdinand, a gentle calf who would rather sit and smell the flowers than leap, snort and charge. His fellow bulls Huesos, Guapo and Valiente mock him for not being aggressive and for his habit of protecting the flowers, but Ferdinand takes the teasing in stride without changing his attitude. One day a matador arrives at the farm and everything becomes a competition. The calves' fathers struggle to impress him, and the young bulls learn that their worth is measured in the arena. Ferdinand rejects that violent tradition and gets caught in a rivalry he never chose. The film is directed by Carlos Saldanha and stars John Cena as the voice of the lead.
