Synopsis of Velvet

Velvet premieres in 1958 at the Velvet Galleries, a high-fashion house located at number 34 on Madrid's Gran Vía and owned by Don Rafael Márquez. Ana Ribera is a seamstress who has worked in the workshop since childhood, with a great passion for fashion and her craft. Alberto Márquez, heir to the family business, notices her, and a love story develops between them. Their relationship, mutual but forbidden in a very rigid era, drives the plot. The series, created by Ramón Campos and Gema R. Neira, airs on Antena 3 and stars Paula Echevarría and Miguel Ángel Silvestre.
