Trivia about Express

The series' theme song, titled "Río de Enero," was composed and performed by singer Ana Fernández-Villaverde, known professionally as La Bien Querida.
In March 2021, it was announced that Manuela Rojas, daughter of Melani Olivares, would make her acting debut in the series, which also starred Maggie Civantos.
The premiere of the second season in Spain was put on hold after Lionsgate+ shut down in the country, although it did reach Latin America and Brazil on January 20, 2023.
Among the filming locations is Casa Huarte, in the Puerta de Hierro area of Madrid.
Alejo Sauras and Laura Laprida joined the cast of the second season after filming had already begun.
Netflix added both seasons to its Spanish catalog on June 7, 2024, after also acquiring them for Portugal, Italy and Greece.
