Synopsis of Locked Up
Macarena Ferreiro commits several crimes involving account manipulation and embezzlement for love of her boss, and is sentenced to seven years in prison. Her arrival at the Cruz del Sur prison brings a strong emotional shock, and she soon finds herself dealing with complicated and often dangerous relationships among the inmates. Her sentence does not keep her from being drawn into the search for nine million euros that disappeared from an armored truck. Created by Álex Pina, Daniel Écija, Iván Escobar, and Esther Martínez Lobato, the series airs on Antena 3 and stars Maggie Civantos as Macarena, along with Najwa Nimri.
